NBI Endoscopy for the Management of UADT Tumours - 2 Day Course

Start Time: 8:30am - 4:00pm Friday, April 13, 2018
Location: Flinders Private Hospital, Bedford Park South Australia

2 Day course: Friday, 13th April - Saturday, 14th April 2018

NBI technology, already widely used in various endoscopic applications, has proved increasingly useful in ENT medicine and in the preoperative, intraoperative and post-operative staging of patients affected by squamous cell carcinoma in the head and neck area.

This theoretical and practical course allows quick learning on how to interpret the vascular pattern typical of neoplastic and preneoplastic lesions. It also covers interpreting the physical characteristics, methods and diagnostic advantages of NBI technology both by theoretical lessons and practical applications, both in the operating theatre and in the consulting room

A peer-to-peer approach is used with a limited group size. This enables attendees to be in the OR or view real-time, high quality video transmission of larynx surgeries in a lecture room. The latter option allows quick and easy communication between the audience and faculty, as questions can be asked and answered immediately. In addition, a clinical studies update will be provided by experiences made with NBI in laryngology, along with a clinical study update by the presentations of the faculty.

This Course is RACS CMS Approved - 12 Points
